Day 2 - We've arrived

The flight was pretty good although I'm not sure I slept as much as I'd hoped. We were 30 mins late leaving so it was after midnight when we got our meal. As we had preordered we were served pretty quick and it wasn't too bad. The beef was actually very nice, as was the salted caramel chocolate pot. 

We've decided that BA must be the final resting place for all airline staff. They were all certainly past their best before date and we felt sure one of the guys should've retired. I suppose it's quite refreshing that BA don't just go for tottie!!!

Having left a cold wet London yesterday, it's very nice to arrive to 30c and expected to rise during this afternoon. There is lots of security around our hotel as The Rolling Stones are in concert and staying at the Hyatt next door. Thankfully I never liked the Stones so I don't feel seen off at all. 

Our room is very nice and will do nicely for the next couple of days. As soon as our cases arrive we'll be able to have a shower and a drink and then set off to explore.
