Today we have explored Torres del Paine national park. We were told yesterday to take something with us from breakfast because there would be nowhere for lunch so being Miss Organised I produced a roll of plastic bags which I handed out to our group, who were all very grateful. We all sat at breakfast making our lunch and it was very welcome and enjoyable after we'd done a 4 mile trek through the park. Sandra our tour guide was very impressed with my roll of bags and is now going to make it part of her kit.
As with most days the sky cleared and it has been a fantastic day, albeit a tad windy. The wind at times has been unbelievable and there was one point when we had difficulty maintaining our balance. It was also very cold but we had numerous layers so it didn't bother us.

It is amazing the way the colour of the water changes. I wish the photos really did justice to what we've seen.
